            Dry ice blasting is a type of equipment that uses dry ice particles for cleaning. Dry ice is a solid form of carbon dioxide at low temperatures. Dry ice blasting achieves efficient and environmentally friendly cleaning effects by spraying dry ice particles at high speed onto the surface to be cleaned. This cleaning method does not use water or chemical solvents and is widely used in industrial cleaning, equipment maintenance, food processing and other fields.


Working principle of dry ice blasting cleaning machine

            The working principle of dry ice blasting cleaning machine can be divided into the following steps:

    1. Dry ice particle preparation: dry ice is made into small particles or microparticles, usually with a diameter of about 3 mm, so that it can pass through the blasting device better.
    2. Spraying device: dry ice particles are sprayed to the surface to be cleaned under high pressure through compressed air or other carrier gas.
    3. Cleaning process:
  • Physical impact: dry ice particles hit the dirt surface at high speed, producing a mechanical stripping effect to remove dirt.
  • Thermal shock: dry ice particles sublimate rapidly after contacting the surface (directly from solid to gas), and the instantaneous temperature change makes the dirt brittle and cracked.
  • Volume expansion: the volume of dry ice expands rapidly when it sublimates, causing the dirt to be stripped from the surface.

    4. Dirt removal: the stripped dirt is removed by a vacuum or airflow collection device.
